We at Kanaka Pragna strongly believe the early years of childhood are wonderful years and therefore crucial for their information. In fact it has been established through numerous studies that the first five years are the most formative years for a child's all round development though each child has his or her own pace to learn and pick up skills. Kanaka Pragna aspires to make the child's initial and most formative years memorable by being the caring adult who will share the responsibility with parents for creating genuine love for learning in each child at the formative stage. The Kanaka Pragna Montessori School opened, to provide a rich academic and practical in an exceptionally Warm and relaxed environment, Independent and standing tall on our accomplishments, with renewed vigour, we are determined to reach even greater heights in the field of preschool education. At Kanaka Pragna Montessori School, we believe that all children are exceptional in that they have an extraordinary capacity to understand actions and words. In addition, they are extremely innovative, talented, education naturally curious and innately frank. They learn through hands-on experimentation with their environment, encourage children to think of creative solutions both independently and by teaming up with others. We believe that there is not just one correct way for using materials and we encourage new approaches in every process oriented activity. At Kanaka Pragna, we teach children to think, not what to think. We create a flexible but secure environment, where children are stimulated by new experiences and thereby grow in leaps and bounds. Mission and Goals : We want the child to feel comfortable in taking the initiative, learning the process of deliberation and making independent choices. Our main goal is for the child to develop curiousity and love for learning. We believe this can only happen with the dynamic partnership of the child, parent and teacher, in an enriching and challenging educational environment. And we provide this environment. While enjoying what they do, children at Kanaka Pragna Montessori School, get to share their ideas with others. They expand their math, language and thinking skills and develop social skills, under the guidance of able and experienced facilitators. To achieve these goals, we provide children with a stimulating environment which enables them to grow to their fullest potential - emotionally, socially, physically and cognitively. This gives them the solid foundation they need for all further intellectual growth.
