Recognised by the Dental Council of India (BDS) and the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MDS). Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Dental Sciences (KVIDS) is a constituent institution of Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Lore for Learning (KVELL), established under the aegis of the Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust. The Institute offers dental education supported by an attached 250-chair teaching hospital, providing clinical training alongside comprehensive patient care. The undergraduate curriculum integrates foundational medical sciences through Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, enabling students to develop a strong grounding in medical knowledge alongside their dental education. Clinical training is complemented by community-based learning through rural postings, oral health programmes, and outreach camps. With an emphasis on academic learning, clinical exposure, and community engagement, the Institute prepares graduates with the knowledge, skills, and professional values essential for contemporary dental practice.
