KARVE Education founded in 2014 is committed to providing solutions to these complex challenges through quality education and development to realise every individual's true potential. We are a chain of preschools located in Bangalore and Trivandrum and expanding our presence in other locations. We also provide turn-key solutions and management consultancy services to schools and other educational institutions in matters of Operations, Administration, Human Resources, Student Management and Content Management. In order for nations to live in harmony and peace we need good leaders who can keep the planet a safe haven for mankind. At KARVE we want to provide equal opportunity for every child to become a leader and ambassador of humanity. We believe that leaders aren`t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. Our Learning Approach : There is great emphasis today on the role of schools in holistic development of children. The process and approach that we take of learning is as important as the content. Learning can take place in many ways. The extent to which students retain what they learn depends on the approach taken to their learning. Play is a central activity of childhood and has a place at all levels of learning. It is seen as central to preschool education and is crucial in enabling the child to develop and learn physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially. It does not just take care of cognitive development but is also important for the overall development of the child. We follow a simple rule in our school - "Avoid compulsion and let early education be a manner of amusement". Young children learn by games; compulsory education cannot remain in the soul. At KARVE we follow the Montessori and Multiple Intelligence Approach for Formal Academic Learning in the early years. Howard Gardner challenges traditional, narrower views of intelligence. Some of the important points from his Multiple Intelligence theory that play a significant role in framing a holistic curriculum at KARVE are inspired by him. Montessori approach for preschool education developed by Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori is characterized by an emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child`s natural psychological, physical, and social development. The Montessori approach is holistic and aims to develop the whole child. Fundamental to the approach is the belief that a child`s early years from birth to six are the period when they have the greatest capacity to learn. Our Learning Environment : Teachers, who hold hands, open the minds and touch the hearts of their students. An arrangement that facilitates movement and activity of the little ones. Beauty, harmony, cleanliness of environment. Construction in proportion to the child and his/her needs. Limitation of materials, so that only material that supports the child`s development is included. Order inside and outside the class room.
