Overview

Katahguri college was established in 1988 and is located on the western side of Nagaon district which is also situated by the side of a PWD Road (J.T.D. Road). Starting with a very thin number of students in the year of its inception, the college has made its headway into a foremost institution with Arts stream only. The college, with a dedicated teaching faculty and an efficient administrative staff, makes an effort to prepare the students for a good career and help them build up character. It promotes friendship, amity, mutual understanding and a sense of belongingness among the students coming from different ethnic linguistic and religious backgrounds and fosters the feelings of a large family among themselves. The college offers ample scope to the students to develop their finer faculties in art, culture and literature through competition and participation in various events throughout the year.
