Overview
The campus of the college is located in one single plot of about 55 acres nearly 5 kilometers away from Katihar Railway Junction on Katihar-Purnia road. The facilities of teaching, hospitals, hostels laboratories and residential quarters for teachers and others are all located within the campus and total built-up area is nearly 900000 sq. feet. More than fifty percent of available seats for admission is reserved for candidates belonging to Muslim religious minority community. The Katihar Medical College faculty is second to none. Each teacher is pre-screened, background checked, and interviewed for the best possible fit at Katihar Medical College. Indian Journal of Innovative Clinical Research, established by Katihar Medical College Hospital (affiliated with Al-Karim University) in 2024, is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promoting excellence across all areas of medical sciences.
