Overview

Kavitha Junior College (KJC) is an oasis of learning for 40 underprivileged students in Chilukur, Kodad, a two-hour drive from S2tech`s development center in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. To sponsor a junior college student is $530 per year. These students are obtaining an excellent college preparatory education that they wouldn`t otherwise be able to receive. All aim to become engineers or doctors. The 11th and 12th standard (grade) students come from rural areas surrounding the school. They live and study on the campus, taking a variety of classes - including chemistry, zoology, higher level math and physics, all in English.
