KULTALI DR. B. R.

AMBEDKAR COLLEGE since its very inception in 2005 has been striving to the best of its abilities to help students in the cultivation of mind to propagate ideas and translate those intellectual ideas into reality. Kultali, situated in the Sunderban biosphere, is a densely populated area. However, though there were seven feeder schools, yet no college till 2005.

The need for an institution for higher education led to a strong demand from the local inhabitants and this in turn instigated to the establishment of the college in 2005. Local people irrespective of caste, creed, religion, colour and social status extended their valuable support and cooperation of the establishment and further development of this institution. A blood donation camp with 1380 enthusiasts donating their blood to raise the required fund of the college so that the college can get its affiliation is nothing but a reflection of the zeal, vigour and passion of the people behind the establishment of the college.
