Overview
Little Flower Higher Primary School at Bajpe was started in the year 1926 by Rev. Fr Leo Saldanha. It emerged as an answer to the signs of the time to educate girl children. Mr Raphael Pereira became its first Head Master. The Institute was growing in number. So it was given to the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany in the year 1930. Since then it has imparted value based education keeping in mind the vision and the core values of BES. The Pioneers Sr Josephine, Sr Dolorus, Sr Emilda and Sr Raphael laid the strong foundation for life through their dedicated service. The able leadership of Sr Francis, Sr Letitia, Sr Bernard, Sr Clemence, Sr Alberta, Sr Modesta, Sr Grace, Sr Leoba, Sr Joanina, Sr Agnetta, Sr Regis,Sr Patsy, Sr Sybil, Sr Suma, Sr Veena Aranha, Mrs Lucy Pinto and currently Sr Venisha under the guidance of Sr Marie Lyta the Correspondent, the School moves towards the ladder of success. The dedicated Staff plans and executes for all round development of the students besides curricular and co-curricular activities. The school is well known both at District & State level for Kho-Khoand Volleyball. We have good strength every year. At present the school student strength is 376 with seven teaching staff. We also have parallel English Medium classes for VI and VII Std with qualified teachers
