Lourde College of Nursing, a division of Lourde Education Academy is situated at Taliparamba in Kannur District in a serene and salubrious neighborhood and is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council and is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences.. It is established in the year 2006 and managed by KANATE FOUNDATION, which is a public Charitable Trust. Chairman of the Trust is Dr KJ Devasia, and Dr Joseph Benaven its executive trustee. Director of the College is Mrs. Rakhi Joseph and Prof. Mr. Senthilkumar.T the Principal. Taliparamba is the nearest town which is 2 km away from the College and Kannur is the nearest railway station which is 25 km away from the College. The College through its state of the art infrastructure, well experienced and dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff is committed to excellence in nursing education.
