This college had its beginning in July 1999 at undergraduate level with just 118 students. Before the present building came into existence, the college was started in the Govt. senior secondary School, Taranagar. The foundation of this magnificent building was laid by by Chandanmal Baid (Ex finance minister of Government of Rajasthan) along with Ramawatar Raghuwanshi (IAS of Churu) and Madhusudan Singh(SP of Churu) on 26 Oct. 2001.
