Overview

Maharaja Agrasen Medical Education & Scientific Research Society was established at Agroha (Haryana) on 18th April 1988 to provide health care services, medical education. It was a joint dream of visionary and great social leaders of Agarwal Community Late Sh. Ghanshyam Das Goel (Founding Chairman), Sh. O.P. Jindal, Sh. Banarsi Dass Gupta and other Agarwal Bandhus. To bring healthcare of International standards within the reach of every individual. We are committed to the achievement and maintenance of excellence in education, research and healthcare for the benefit of humanity. The Society commemorates the great patriarch of the Vaish Community, Maharaja Agrasen, in whose name this college was built and is located at Agroha; the Capital of his Great Kingdom. Maharaja Agrasen was a Vaish King of the Solar Dynasty who adopted Vanika Dharma for the benefit of his people. Literally, Agrawal means the “Children of Agrasen” or the “People of Agroha”, a city in ancient Kuru Panchala, near Hisar in Haryana region said to be founded by Maharaja Agrasen.
