The institution, which is a constituent college of the University of Delhi, was created on 17 July 1967 by the Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Delhi State, to educate young women and prepare them for life by enhancing their intellectual sensitivity. We are happy to have a student body of 4066 bright young ladies. There are 166 notable faculty members and 64 non-teaching staff members.

The institution, with its highly well-qualified teaching faculty and efficient support personnel, provides an excellent learning atmosphere for young women as they begin on their life’s journey, giving shape to their most treasured goals and wings to their creative ambitions.
