Overview
Mayang Anchalik College is a Degree (Arts) College which was established in 1992 in the village Rajamayang, P.O. Rajamayang in the western part of the district of Morigaon, Assam. The college is permanently affiliated to Gauhati University, Guwahati. The core subjects offered by G.U. in the college are: Economics, History, Political Science, Education and Elective Assamese. Major Courses are also available in all the subjects. The College has been included under sections 2(f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act 1956. The College is situated at a distance of 42 Km from Morigaon College, 35 Km from Jagiroad College, 35 Km from Dimoria College and 33 Km from Narengi Anchalik College. All roads to the college are pacca (Black Topping). Since its inception, it has been dedicated to cater to the needs of higher education to the poor and needy students of the area. Now, the college is the centre of excellence in imparting and expanding education among rural poor students.
