The Congregation of the Hospitaller Sisters of Mercy was originated in Rome, Italy in the year 1821 by Princess Theresa Orsini with the specific mission of taking care of the poor, sick & needy.

The Mercy School of Nursing along with Mercy Hospital are committed to impart quality, value based education coupled by our experience among the different sections of the society taking in to consideration the paucity of the trained nurses in the country as a whole and in the state in particular & also to reduce the inadequacy of nurses training facilities to meet the hopes & aspirations of basically qualified girls to undergo nursing & the need of the time also realizing the social responsibility in the field of health care.
