Overview

N.K.Varadkar Arts & R.V.Belose Commerce College, Dapoli is located at Kalkai Kond, Dapoli in Ratnagiri District. It was founded by the former State Minister, Government of Maharashtra, Late Shri.Baburaoji Belose in 1974. It is situated on a hill top surrounded by tall trees. The sights & sounds of this college are very charming. The total area of our college campus is Nine acres. Dapoli is noted for its cultural & historical heritage. Three Bharat Ratnas like P.V.Kane, Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve & Dr.B.R.Ambedkar belong to Dapoli itself. The college has been providing education in rural areas especially for the weaker sections of the society. At present our college has more than 1300 students both at junior college , U.G. & P.G. level( History & Marathi ). Along with academic excellence the college has promoted N.S.S. , Sports , Cultural, Adult Education and extra – curricular activities for the students. The college has started Y.C.M.O.U. Nashik’s study centre for B.A./B.Com. & B.C.M. for needy students. At present the college offers all facilities such as modern teaching aids.
