Overview

It is with great pleasure and excitement that I introduce our esteemed institution, poised to redefine excellence in education. New Model College, Mangkolemba established in the year 2023 by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland is affiliated to Nagaland University. Presently it offers Honours in Humanities and Social Sciences with our motto “Nurturing Possibilities Towards Excellence”. Our commitment to providing quality education like any other higher educational institutions in the state, with the team work of highly qualified and dedicated faculty is guaranteed for each individual student. We are also committed to empowering students with a holistic approach in its endeavour. The present curriculum is based on NEP 2020 with special emphasis in skill and value development among the learners. The curriculum framework has made a paradigm shift from the traditional specific subject to oriented multidisciplinary approach making education more student- friendly.
