Overview
National Institute of Technology Manipur, a centrally funded Institute was set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India in 2010. It is situated in a scenic landscape of Langol Campus with 341 acres of land at the western part of Imphal. It is only 06 km away from Imphal International Airport which is well connected with rest of the country. It is one of the ten newly set up NITs which were establised to cater the needs of the brilliant students particularly from Manipur and North Eastern States as well as from the rest of the country.
