In our ancient Indian Gurukul system, learning was through nature and understanding the basic elements of the universe. With this strong education system, Indians gifted to the world Astrology, Mathematics and much more. In those times, our society was a conscious one, where the key profession was religion. Awareness of our surroundings through the basic elemental form and being one with Nature, where spirituality meets science, is the essence of our ancient education. Today's education is on the opposite track, more bookish and exam oriented. Thus students are left with a lack of practical application of knowledge.
