Overview
RIM understands higher education institutions have a pivotal role in fostering an entrepreneurial mind-set in the youth population. The ultimate goal of RIM is to become net Job creators rather than facilitating job seeker or job providers. The Institute has taken efforts in this direction by on boarding NEN National Entrepreneurship Network program of Wadhwani Foundation as a part of its curriculum. The Institute has tied up with e.MERG-Engineering manufacturer Resource Group, AWAKE- Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Karnataka, GIGA- Innovation centre ? a US based organisation promoting entrepreneurs through links with the TIE ? The Indus Entrepreneurs a US based organisation of Indian entrepreneurs. The Institute also organises within the campuson-campus flea markets, entrepreneurship workshops etc. Through RIM - GIGA Incubation centre, the Institute provides consulting to businesses, and facilitates locating funding partners and venture capitalists through winner?s circle event.
