Overview

People who succeed have momentum. The more they succeed, the more they want to succeed and find ways to achieve their goals. These words truly describe the journey of RSBDV trust and its many institutional tributaries. This trust was founded on the 29th March 1957 with one noble purpose in mind 'Education'. Mulund was bereft of good educational institutes when this trust embarked on its journey of literacy in the masses. The first chairman of the trust, Shree Ravji Joshi had offered his own house veranda to start a pre-primary school 'Bal VikasMandir'. What started out as small 10x10 feet hall has now flourished into a well-established educational institute housing 2,000 students. The Marathi Medium Primary section started in a building near Mulund station. In the late 1960s, a philanthropist in Mulund, Shree WamanraoMuranjan donated land near Mulund East Railway Station. A building on the land housed the secondary and higher secondary section of the Marathi medium school.
