The Al-Irshad charitable Society is a Registered Society which was established in the year 1995 with the goal of providing high-quality health care to the society in a non-profit setting.

The association began with the Red Crescent Hospital in Feroke, Calicut in the year 1995

Later, the hospital was upgraded to a 250-bed multispecialty hospital, including a cardiac super specialty. In the year 2003. The society established Red crescent School of Nursing with GNM diploma course , which was later promoted to a degree level, Bsc Nursing, in the year 2010 and changed as Red Crescent College of Nursing . The college of nursing is presently effectively operating with the 12th batch of Bsc Nursing students.
