Overview

Roland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (RIPS), Berhampur was established in the year 1986 by the erstwhile M/s. Roland Pharmaceuticals, a reputed small-scale pharma industry to promote pharmacy education. Started with D. Pharmacy course, the institute made rapid strides and introduced Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate courses in quick succession. It has the distinction of being the First P.G. Pharmacy Institute in the state of Orissa, approved by the A.I.C.T.E. in 2000-01, when M. Pharmacy course in Pharmaceutics was introduced. RIPS is managed by the Governing Body, duly registered under Society Act 1860 vide Registration No. GJM No. 922-21. The institute is approved by A.I.C.T.E., P.C.I. it is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and Odisha state Board of Pharmacy.
