About Rural Foundation's Shikshanshastra Mahil Mahavidyalaya

Rural Foundation's Shikshanshastra Mahil Mahavidyalaya is a government institution in Nandurbar, Maharashtra, established in 2005. Campusbells lists it under Teachers Education.

The RFNS institution is established in 1999 in the tribal Taluka of NandurbarDistrict. Nandurbar district is known as a tribal district because tribal people are mostly concentrated in this district. Akkalkuwa is one of the Talukas of Nandurbar district, which is mostly tribal populated Taluka, and there was not a single Woman Education college available in this Taluka. The tribal people of this area were deprived of the higher education therefore our Institution founder Chairman Shri.Aapasaheb Prakash Patil started the B .Ed .college at Akkalkuwa in ..2005__2006.

The college is affiliated to the SNDT University, Mumbai (MS). College has its own separate block in the building of campus. The entire infrastructural development of the institution depends on management funding. Our college is located at SorapadaTehsil-Akkalkuwa, District- Nandurbar, which is the north- west part of Maharashtra near the borders of Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
