Overview

At Saksham Preschool and Nursery, we cherish being part of a child's early years. We believe that children thrive in an environment of experiential and collaborative learning which empowers them as they grow. Education does not have to be a dull and dreary activity. Done properly, learning can be fun. Every child has his or her natural interests and strengths and is a unique individual deserving of the best opportunities possible. We also understand that each child has an innate desire to acquire knowledge that must be cultivated and not blunted. As such it is our duty as educators to bring out the inherent skills and talents of the children in our care. Our children love coming to Saksham because we foster a child's growth in social cognition, independence, communication, creativity and core academics in a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment. The EYFS approach that we follow, combined with a Montessori based teaching method helps children to become independent learners thus promoting their confidence and increasing their self motivation. Our children at Saksham engage in dance, music, art, sports, yoga, and an international language, led by our own teachers and aided by visiting faculty. This integrated curriculum provides for the refinement of Cognitive, Social, Physical and Emotional skills of the child.
