At SAM GURUKUL learning is always fun, concepts are always deep-rooted, applications are always encouraged, and creativity is always championed. Founded in 2011 , SAM GURUKUL House of Montessori is associated with providing excellent Montessori based education blended with traditional methods of classroom teaching and has its banner flying across the country. Over 200 students have graduated from the house of children in the past decade. The environment at Gurukul offers children a wide range of effective learning resources which are part of the mindfully designed curriculum for children of the age group of 1.6 year to 5.6 years. Social development and extra curricular activities are of great importance at SAM GURUKUL . The development of social skills and engagement in extra curricular activities contribute to the development of a child's cognitive abilities, emotional expression and overall growth. Activities such as the Show-n-Tell, Role-play, Festival Celebrations, Grand Parent day , Grand Annual Day, Sports Day, Birthday Celebrations and Circle-Time Talk are conducted all-around the year for children. WHY Montessori ? Montessori has been thriving around the globe and contemporary research validates the effectiveness of montessori methods . Several key Elements of the Montessori approach meet the educational goals that today's parent envision for their children, this enables growth of children as capable individuals who will have a strong sense of self, the ability to connect with others and the potential to be productive through out their lives" With Montessori this growth starts early . The early years 0.6 years are the critical time in setting a strong foundation for the child future. Children in the first stage of development, ie age 0 6 yrs, absorb everything from their environment. Children from 3 -6 years old move on to a more conscious stage of development they still have a sponge like mind that will absorb information early but now they will Consciously seek certain experiences. Children in this phase are expanding their newly developed Facilities and abilities . They will demonstrate an inner desire to make Choices for themselves and to accomplish tasks independently.
