Overview
Mr. B. Ramachandiran, Chairman, Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Center, founded the Ramachandra Educational Trust to propagate the importance of literacy among the rural population. Then identifying the need for a good hospital in the locality, the trust established a multi-speciality hospital in 2005 with 750 beds and amenities by our beloved chairman Group of institutions running under Ramachandra Educational Trust Mr. B. Ramachandiran, Chairman, SriVenkateshwaraa group of institutions. Taking another significant step ahead, the institution introduced an undergraduate course in medicine in the year 2007. Indirani College of Nursing with undergraduate and Post Graduate nursing courses was added to the offering in 2009. Further in 2010, the Institution diversified its course offering with the introduction of Paramedical courses such as BPT, B.Sc. MLT. With a firmer footing in medical education, 2012 saw the addition of Postgraduate courses in Medicine and Nursing along with a nursing Diploma.
