As per the Ministry of Human Resource Development Govt. Of India Notification No. F.9. 1/2006-U.3 (A) dated 10 November 2006, the Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) is a constituent of the prestigious Symbiosis International University (SIU).
