The educational legacy of Smt. M. P. Kothari Mahila Mahavidyalay, Nandura, traces its origin to the establishment of The Nandura English Education Society in 1914. The society was founded with the visionary objective of promoting English and modern education in the Nandura region, which at that time had limited access to quality educational facilities. The guiding force behind this initiative was Late. Shri. Chunnilalji Kothari, a dedicated philanthropist and educationist who firmly believed that education is the key instrument for social transformation.

In the same year, 1914, the society started its first English medium school, marking a pioneering step in the field of education in the region. This initiative provided students with opportunities to gain English proficiency and modern knowledge, helping them compete at regional and national levels. The school soon earned the trust of society due to its disciplined academic environment and commitment to holistic student development.
