The year 2001 was important in the sense that for the first time ever the University wide master plan for development was initiated by Rutger. Almost simultaneously the development plans and project of Sri Sitaram Vaidic Adarsha Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya was launched, though on a very very small scale. It is significantly important and interesting to observe that the ideals that Inspired Thakur Sri Sri Sitaramdas Omkarnath Dev, in whose name this institution is named, also reverberates the very atmosphere of this College.
