Overview
Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Junior College has been established in the year 1997 with an aim to impart quality education to the society. During the initial years from 1997 upto 2011 it provided +2 level education only in the Science stream and hence named as Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Junior Science College. But due to constant public demand and to serve the society in a better way it has introduced Commerce stream from the 2012-2013 session and Arts stream from the Academic Session 2013-2014 and hence the College was renamed as Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Junior College. From the very first year it has been attracting pupils from different parts of the society. It has strong presence of students from all districts of Upper Assam and some from other parts of the state. The Institute in true sense is an Institute of the society, as almost each and every family , from a farmer to a vendor, from a shopkeeper to a merchant, from an illiterate to an educationist contributed a lot, financially and physically for the establishment of the College.
