Founded by Late Dr. P T Abraham, St. Mary's Residential Public School, Thiruvalla, is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.

It is one of the pioneer Senior Secondary Schools in South India, which was established in the year 1974 by St. Mary's Educational and Cultural Society, a registered charitable trust. Within a span of fifty years, the school has made outstanding achievement in various areas of curricular and co-curricular activities and has catered to the educational needs of students all over India and those from abroad.

The school managed by a Governing Council consisting of eminent educationists, is situated in the heart of Thiruvalla Municipal Town. It has an extensive team of experienced and well-qualified faculty. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls.
