There were basically three reasons behind the establishment of this institute. One was to establish a school of education on the ideals of the great Indian philosopher Swami Vivekanand. His views on education is widely discussed and followed among scholars of the world.

Even after being a philosopher, he had very deep understanding on the subject. The society greatly respects and admires his ideology. Another reason behind establishment was to provide a good alternative in the era of declining education in schools and commercialization of the school education.

This issue is affecting society in many negative ways. In order to control the situation, there is need for good and motivated trained teachers. This could be possible only then when more but good teacher’s training institute will be opened.
