About U.K.Mahavir College

U.K.Mahavir College is a private college in Kendrapada, Odisha, established in 1981. It is affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Campusbells lists it under General.

K. Mohabir College blossmed with its fragrance of 128 students and seven teaching and 12 non-teaching staff in the Intermediate Arts Class. With a visionary mission to make higher education available to local boys and girls, who are usually afflicted with poverty and thus denied being educated further, was set up this institution.

The sole credit as to the establishment of insti- tution of this kind goes to Late Sj. Baikuntha Nath Pradhan, an eminent educationist who is acclaimed in public to have fathered all the educational institutions coming up in and around Madanpur. A good group of enterprising local young guys did extend their co-operation and catalatic role all along the endeavour of which best reflects the current sta- tus of the college.
