ABOUT
Overview
The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore was established through an Act by the Govt. of Mysore (Karnataka) in 1963 and inaugurated by Dr. Zakir Hussain, VicePresident of India on August 21, 1964. The Gandhi Krishi Vignana Kendra (GKVK) campus was inaugurated by Smt. Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India on July 12, 1969.
