The Vinayaka Mission’s college of Physiotherapy is a constituent college of Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), Salem which plays a vital role in the field of Physiotherapy.

This college was established by the Founder and Chairman, His Excellency Dr. A. SHANMUGASUNDARAM in the year 1993 for offering Bachelor of Physiotherapy course after approval and affiliation from Govt. of Tamilnadu and The T.N Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. The University grants commission, New Delhi after inspecting the infrastructural facilities of the college, granted permission to run the college under the ambit of Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) in August 2004.

So far several hundred students had passed out from this college successfully and they are practicing Physiotherapy in India and abroad. Our college was upgraded with post graduate courses in the year 2004 and had become a research institute for the practice of physiotherapy.
