About Vivekananda Loksiksha Niketan

Vivekananda Loksiksha Niketan is a private institution in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, established in 2005. Campusbells lists it under Teachers Education, with 2 courses (1 undergraduate and 1 diploma), including D.El.Ed and B.Ed. Approvals and accreditation: NCTE.

Vivekananda Loksiksha Niketan (VLN) draws its strength from a committed base of 126 members – 105 men and 21 women – along with numerous well-wishers who contribute their time, skills and resources to the organization’s mission. This strong network has been the cornerstone of VLN’s sustained community impact for over four decades.

While we acknowledge that some senior members, due to personal circumstances, are less active in day-to-day operations, their guidance and wisdom remain invaluable. We continue to encourage and welcome their participation whenever possible. Encouragingly, there has been a steady influx of youth from the locality eager to join our efforts. New membership applications undergo a careful vetting process to ensure alignment with the organization’s values and mission. The enthusiasm and dedication of our younger members and women members have been instrumental in driving project success, reflecting a healthy blend of energy, innovation and inclusivity.
