Yuveraj Dutta (P.G.) college, Lakhimpur Kheri,established in 1949 by Raja Yuveraj Dutta Singhji of Oel and Kaimaraha state, is the oldest and largest co-educational institution of higher education in Kheri District. Padam Bhushan Dr. Jaidev Singh, a doyen in the field of Indian Classical music as well as Indian Philosophy, was founder principal of our college. The college enjoyed the status of being the first and only centre of higher education between Bareilly and Lucknow for a long time. The college offers courses of regular studies in Arts, Science, Commerce and Teacher- Education both at Graduate and Post -Graduate level.The College is included under section 2(f) & 12 (B) of the UGC Act 1956 and is affiliated to Lucknow University, Lucknow.

The college is an aided institution and recieves maintenance grants from UP Govt. The college is proudly fulfilling its objectives of providing quality higher education at the most affordable fees to the youth of this educationally backward district so that they get enlightened and empowered.
