Overview

In 1984, Andhra Muslim College, Guntur was established by Janab Umar Khan, Ex. M.L.A., vide G.O.Ms.No. 510 Education (J) Department, dated 28-11-1984 of Government of Andhra Pradesh under the management of Mohammadiya Education Society. The college is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur and run to the entire satisfaction of the University and Government with B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. courses and also intermediate courses with CEC, HEC, MPC, BiPC & HCML (Urdu). The college is having the Study Centre of Moulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad and imparting coaching in distance mode for all the courses offered by the Moulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU). In the college campus, the Government of Andhra Pradesh established a Regional Centre for the Educational Development of Minorities under the Ministry of Minorities Welfare and giving free coaching for common admission tests i.e., EAMCET, ICET, DIETCET, B.Ed. etc. and also for the exams conducted by APPSC, UPSC, SSC, DSC, RRB etc. The college is having the Distance Education study centre of Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur offering M.A.English, M.Sc Chemistry, and M.B.A. The college is in rapid progress by providing coaching for English language, communication skill, and soft skills and arranging for campus selections and guiding the students regarding Education and Employment.
