Overview

Bhusawal Arts, Science & P.O. Nahata Commerce College, Bhusawal was established in 1963 with the motto "Vidya Danam Mahat Punyam" by Tapti Education Society (R), which was established in 1958. It is one of the premier colleges established to impart & provide in the field of higher education for the deserving candidates and prove to be a milestone in the part of progress. The college is affiliated to North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and it is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) & 12(B) under Act, 1956. It is re-accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with "A" Grade (CGPA Score 3.30 on a 4 Point Scale in 3rd Cycle) on 3rd March 2015. The college is the first co-educational institutions, providing regular courses located in the urban part of Maharashtra. Apart from this, the campus is located in another city. The college conferred the status of grant-in-aid college that the fees and all the facilities for the students are fixed by the government. The student`s admission is done as per the Admission Criteria prescribed by the affiliating university. The college has made a remarkable contribution in imparting Quality Higher Education for uplifting different sections of the society surrounded by rural and agricultural background. The college offers a Wide range of courses, dedicated and experienced research-oriented faculty, well-developed infrastructure, a rich academic and cultural ambiance, enriched library, well-developed modern laboratories, modern student-centric teaching-learning methods, social commitment, enrich student support services are some of the prominent features of the college. The college was also recognized & conferred the status as "College with Potential for Excellence (CPE)" by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. At present, the college offers two years intermediate courses in Arts, Science, & Commerce streams with various optional specializations under Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune. And also offer three years undergraduate & two years postgraduate courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, & Management streams with various optional specializations under North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. It also offers Add-On Certificate courses.
