About Debabrat Bhuyan College

Debabrat Bhuyan College is a private college in Biswanath, Assam, established in 2016. Campusbells lists it under General.

Debabrat Bhuyan College stands as a beacon of educational excellence in the heart of Assam, specifically in the Chaiduar Block of the Sonitpur District. Established in 2016, this non-aided private educational institution was founded under the auspices of the Debabrat Bhuyan Socio-Educational Society, a charitable organization registered under the Society Registration Act of 1860. The college is a tribute to the memory of Debabrat Bhuyan and is part of the esteemed Debabrat Bhuyan Group of Educational Institutions (DBGEI).

The roots of educational enlightenment planted by the society actually stretch back further, with the establishment of the Debabrat Bhuyan Senior Secondary School in 2008. This earlier initiative was aimed at providing high-quality education at the senior secondary level, offering both Arts and Commerce streams for students in grades XI and XII. This successful venture laid the groundwork for the subsequent establishment of Debabrat Bhuyan College.
