Overview

What started small in 2001 with four children has steadily grown, towards being an ideal Montessori House of children practising Montessori methodology and philosophy with personal care and attention. Discover reposes the faith in Dr. Maria Montessori and her methodology of teaching. The child`s reality is defined as what he actually sees, hears, touches and lives from birth to 6 years old. It discusses the role of the child in society. Discover establishes the atmosphere of a human community in its classrooms treating every child with respect and dignity. Freedom is an essential element of the Montessori environment, and at Discover the adult and the child are not in a power struggle but in a relationship of co-existence. Discover provides an environment where children learn by assistance and adults are merely facilitators towards meaningful learning equipped with a Diploma in Montessori methodology from the Indian Montessori Centre.
