Overview
Government Degree College Lanj is a small College within Kangra Valley. Lanj is a beautiful and peaceful region of district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is 38 km towards west from district headquarter Dharamshala and 35 km from Kangra. Education is the mirror of society and is the seed as well as flower of socio economic development. It transforms human being from ignorance to enlightenment and from backwardness to sophisticated life. Rural development is an essential part of growth of any nation, taking this matter into account; The Government of Himachal Pradesh gifted Government College to the Lanj region which comes as a boon for local students, especially for girls. It is a matter of immense pride for us that in our college girl’s strength is more than boys students, At present two courses i.e. Arts and Commerce are running in our college and in future we are planning to add on Science course as well.
