Overview
Government Polytechnic, Khutri, Bokaro is a premier technical education institute under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of Jharkhand. The institute is situated in a beautiful natural environment, approximately 20 km from Bokaro Steel City. The campus is surrounded by green trees, groves and hills, providing a peaceful and pollution-free environment that is conducive to learning. The institute is situated in an area with an elevation ranging from approximately 200 to 540 metres above mean sea level. The institute is located on the Bokaro-Patna National Highway, approximately 7 km from Bokaro Steel City Railway Station. It is situated in the industrial hub of Bokaro and provides technical education relevant to the needs of the surrounding industrial sector. Government Polytechnic, Khutri was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Bihar, Sri Bindeswari Dubey, on 2 April 1986.
