The college is located at Besorgaon nearly 8 km away from the heart of the city. The Medical College is affiliated to the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Guwahati. National Medical Commission (NMC) inspected KMCH on 31/01/2023 and granted permission for admission of 100 students every year on 22/02/2023. Since the inception, KMCH is providing comprehensive and holistic education to its students, quality healthcare and research opportunities in the Northeast India.
