Overview

Nurture is the brainchild of a group of young professionals with a vision to bring in the best in Primary and Elementary school education. In the sphere of education, the team has joined hands with education specialists & professionals with varied background to initiate "Nurture"-which we hope will be a clarion call for the parents and the community at large to introspect the manner in which education is presently being perceived, approached at and applied. Our Vision : The Nature versus Nurture debate is an old one. Nature has privileged us with vast potentials as well as limitations, acquired over our long history. However, now more than ever, faced as we are with a world going through dramatic changes-the pivotal role of Nurture lies in shaping a means to a conscious evolutionary approach. Spirit of Nurture : To grow, provide for and assist the developmental needs of children through successive and distinct stages of development from childhood to adolescence with the belief that the growing child can only lead mankind to actualize its potential. Our beliefs are primarily rooted in the Montessori philosophy and principles. We believe. Each child is a personality in her or his own right and we respect it. Every child is gifted. Early nurturing can help the child in using her/his potential to the fullest. Every child has distinct needs and learning abilities. Our methodology is derived from these inherent needs of the children. The primary goal is to provide a stimulating, child oriented environment that children can explore, touch, and learn without any restrictions or hindrance. An understanding parent or mentor in a Montessori school is a large part of this child`s world. The end result is to encourage life long learning, the joy of learning, and happiness about one`s path and purpose in life. Montessori method is the most scientific way of teaching that has been universally adopted. There are approximately 5,000 Montessori schools in the United States and more than 20,000 in 110 countries worldwide. (There are probably around 120 Montessori schools in India) The Montessori method has educated millions of students to become creative, confident, compassionate and gifted leaders throughout the globe.
