Overview
Pragjyotika Senior Secondary School situated in the heart of Titabar is one of the premier institutes of the state imparting education at secondary level. The Junior college was established in the year 2000 as an extension of the greater Pragjyotika family. During its glorious 22 years of existence the junior college has constantly been upgrading itself to meet the demand of quality education in today`s ever changing educational scenerio. The junior college is a beacon of academic excellence in the state, nurturing young aspirants to face every possible challenge in the highly competitive world outside. The college provides all the arts, science and commerce stream with a well establised and ideal academic atmosphere. The experienced teaching staff ensure quality teaching to the students in both english and assamese medium. The institute also provides in-house campus IIT JEE and Medical coaching by one of the top coaching institutes, AAKASH. Pragjyotika have produced rank holders every year since 2008. Our succes at the competitive exams (Engineering and medical) remains one of our many sources of pride. From 2010, we have produced 29 IIT JEE rank holders till date.
