The Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences (RKMVIMS) was recognised by the University of Calcutta for post-graduate training and research in medicine in 1963, the year of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Centenary.
