REVA Independent PU College (Ganganagar) was commenced in the year 2002 under the aegis of Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust (RECT) as Educational venture of Divyashree Developers. College is affiliated to Department of Pre-University Education Board of Karnataka. Reva provides a holistic teaching to the students through classroom, practical and value added teaching. RIPU provides confidence, assistance so as to create an atmosphere that not only leads students to the path of success, but also incite them to deliver their own potential. The labs are well designed to permit the students with ample working space. It provides students an opportunity to develop and refine their technical skills. At REVA, teacher-student interaction boosts a learning experience among the students through experiments which can help them to explore themselves in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, & Computer Science. Seminar Hall The college provides spacious seminar halls fully air-conditioned with a captivating ambience, different from the usual classroom atmosphere for presentations, guest lectures and seminars. A well-equipped hall facilitates various programs like Annual Day, Alumni Meet, Parent Teacher Meet, Exhibitions & etc. Apart from class room lectures, students need to upkeep themselves with a variety of skills with team spirit and leadership qualities. RIPU also promotes varied kinds of activities. Audio-Visual Room Audio-Visual Room is well equipped with specialized projectors, smart-boards stereo sound and wireless connectivity that encourage active participation and collaboration. AVR is used for conventional and innovative teaching, special lectures and demonstrations, workshops and community outreach and other programs. Library The library is fully equipped with nearly 3700+ books from various streams. It possesses a huge collection of books and journals. Safe Environment with CCTV Surveillance 24 hours well experienced security staff monitors safe entry and exit of the students. Entire college campus is under the surveillance of CCTV cameras. Healthy food is much needed for a wealthy mood. Student Centric Environment REVA Independent PU College, Ganganagar maintains a student centric environment. The teaching learning atmosphere in this institution ensures complete enrollment in most disciplines. The admission committee involves faculty members who help and counsel students in selecting the right course. Students will be assessed before the commencement of the course and are offered a bridge course to negotiate the syllabus for the program. E-Campus A missed class is a lost opportunity for students to learn. The college adapts the Learning Management System (LMS) to increase the frequency to report attendance data, class and examination schedule in standard manner. The system automatically triggers the text messages to the parents regarding the absence of their child for the classes. Student Mentoring Program Facilities The college embraces the mentoring system to build stronger, close and supportive relationship between teacher and the student. Each mentor is given a set of 25 students who closely monitor the academics progress, attendance, social psychological aspects of each student and thereby improving the mentee`s academics skills. Parent Teacher Meeting Parent Teacher Meeting is conducted two to three times in a year to identify both the challenges and gains; the child seems to be facing as a student and as a social person. It provides about fifteen minutes of uninterrupted time with the child`s teacher. Teachers and Parents use these moments to establish rapport and develop a common goal that focuses on helping the child have the best college experience possible. Seminars/Workshops The college organizes Annual Science Exhibitions every year in the month of December to cultivate scientific thrust among students and orientation programs on various subjects are offered to students and faculty. A guest lecturer will be invited to discuss "Importance of II PUC Exams Patterns and Weightage Scheme" and brief about the topics and presented category-wise marks allocation/weightage scheme and exam pattern for 2nd PU board exam. Co-Curricular & Cultural Events Annual College Day `VARNA` is celebrated every academic year in the month of January. Inter class competitions "SPOORTHI" is conducted every academic year in the month of August to nurture the talents of young minds. Students are encouraged to participate in various inter college competitions and win prizes. National Cadet Corps RIPU has a unit of NCC which aims at developing discipline, character, brotherhood and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. It also motivates the young to choose a career in the Armed Forces.
