The Sanstha was founded by the visionary educationist and social reformer Late ShriBhanudasji G. Mundhe, who firmly believed that education is the most powerful instrument for social transformation and empowerment of rural youth.

With a strong commitment to the spread of quality education, the Sanstha has been continuously working to create educational opportunities for students from socially and economically weaker sections of society. The guiding philosophy of the institution is to provide accessible, value-based, and socially relevant education that contributes to the intellectual, moral, and cultural development of students.

As a significant step towards fulfilling this vision, the Sanstha established SantBhagwanbaba Kala Mahavidyalaya, Sindkhed Raja, in 1997 to provide higher education facilities to students in the rural region of Buldana district.
