Overview
GNM stands for General Nursing and Midwifery. GNM nurses can find job in both the government and private sectors. With the increasing awareness about health and fitness, the demand for qualified nurses is likely to increase in the future. GNM is a three-year Diploma course that focuses on the study of nursing and midwifery. GNM graduates can work as nurses in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. They can also work as midwives, providing care to pregnant women and their newborns. The BSc in nursing curriculum covers a range of topic, including biochemistry, organ systems, and medical branches such as psychiatric nursing, chemotherapy, and ENT. After completing a BSc in nursing, one can pursue a Post Basic BSc Nursing course. This course is designed for registered nurses who already completed a nursing diploma or certificate program. It covers advanced courses in nursing theory, clinical practice, community health, and nursing research.
